The Bandits won the first of two this season against the Swarm with a 15-12 victory in Buffalo on February 4, 2011. John Tavares
scored two goals and six assists including the game winner. Ryan Benesch led the Swarm with three goals and four assists. Kevin
Croswell made his only appearance this season in the game saving 21 of 29 shots in 35:35 minutes of play in relief of Nick Patterson.

- This is the debut for the Swarm on national TV in the United States as the game will be aired live on Versus
- Onw win clinches a playoff spot for the Swarm
- This should be the first game at The Hive for Swarm captain Ryan Cousins since February 20th, 2010
- Ryan Benesch is the only player in the league to average three goals per game. His
31 goals led the league.
- If Sean Pollock plays on Sunday at The Hive, he will be the first Swarm player to play in 100 regular
season games for the team
- Noah Talbot has played in 68 conscutive games
for the Swarm
- This will the Swarm home debut of Shayne Bennett
- The Swarm have lost their last eleven games against the East Division.
The last win against the East was on March 14, 2009 in Philadelphai where
Dan Marohl scored the game winner with a second left against the Wings.
The last home win agasinst an East team was also aganst the Wings on April
14, 2008 when Sean Pollock scored the gamew winner in overtime to win at The
Hive
- The Swarm are 0-5 at home versus the Bandits with the last game at home against the Bandits on January 24th, 2009. That was
a 10-9 loss in which the Swarm came back to tie it at nine late before Tavares scored the game winner. Ryan Ward and Kevin Fines
scored two goals each for the Swarm. Mike Thomspson saved 58 shots for the Bandits
- John Tavares, the NLL's all-tme leading scorer, has 36 goals and 60
assists against the Swarm. He also has four game wiinning goals
against the Swarm
