The Minnesota Swarm (3-3) continue their road success winning all three behind Nick Patterson's goaltending as they beat the expansion Edmonton Rush (0-5), 7-6, in the Swarm's lowest scoring game in team history. The seven goals were the least the team has scored in a victory but seven was all that was needed as Patterson saved 40 of 46 shots. All seven Swarm goals were scored by seven separate Swarm players. Brock Boyle's goal with a minute left in the game gave the Swarm their largest lead of the game at 7-5 and was just enough to keep the Rush in losing column.

The Swarm are going to have to play quite a bit better against the Wings next Friday. Thank god the Rush aren't the most accomplished offensive team. Then again, thank god that we have Nick Patterson. Only allowing six goals is pretty good for any team in lacrosse.

Maybe Stewart can help out with the offense. The power play was good, ball movement was okay but the shots weren't going in and Campbell did well for the Rush. Ryan Ward is doing pretty good the last couple of games but we need a bit more.

We gave the Rush numerous power plays but the Swarm shut them all down. However, the Swarm would have had better chances offensively if not in the box all game. After the pre-game altercation which saw Swarm captain Ryan Cousins and former Swarm Trent Smalley tossed, I thought we may see a lot of fights but with the game close both teams stayed away from the fights.

All in all. lets get out of Edmonton and get ready for Philly. We will take the win anyway we can.
