Notes:
- The Swarm are in the playoffs and will play the Washington Stealth in the first round on the weekend of April 29 - May 1.
However, the location of that game will be determined on Saturday night. If the Swarm win, the game will be at The Hive. If
the Swarm lose, the game will be at Washington.
- The Swarm have won two straight at home. They have not won three straight home games since 2008, when they won a team
record six in a row. With a win, the Swarm will have only their second winning season at home at 5-3, with the other in 2008 when they
went 6-2.
- With a win on Saturday, the Swarm will avoid their first losing regular season since 2008. Also, the win will clinch their 2nd
second place finish in team history, which also occurred in 2008.
- The Swarm won their 50th regular season game in team history last weekend. They are 50-61 in regular season history and 0-4 in
the playoffs.
- Ryan Benesch has the most goals in a single season with 43 and counting. He needs six points (he has 87) to win the NLL scoring
title passing Lewis Ratcliff of the Stealth who has 92. He already has won the goal scoring title in the NLL with 43. He should
end up being the second Swarm player to lead the team in goals, assists and points in one season this year, with Sean Pollock being
the first in 2009.
- Noah Talbot has played in 73 consecutive games for the Swarm, most in team history.
- After missing three games, Andrew Watt returned to the line up last Saturday and scored two goals and an assist. Watt has
career season highs in goals (16) and points (21) this season.
- The Swarm have won four straight against Colorado after losing the first five matchups in team history
- The Swarm's Big Three have done well with the Swarm against Colorado. Benesch has 12 goals and 10 assists in 4 games. Callum Crawford has
9 goals and 22 assists in 5 games. Aaron Wilson has 15 goals and 22 assists in 6 games.
- The trade that sent Tim Campeau to the Mammoth for Jamie Shewchuk on February 9th, has gone much better for the Swarm. Shewchuk has
10 goals and 16 assists in 10 games, while Campeau had 2 assists in 3 games and has been on the Mammoth's practice roster since the
trade deadline.
- Colorado clinched a playoff spot last weekend and will travel to play Calgary in the first round on April 30th
- After starting 1-8, the Mammoth have won 4 of their last 6.
- The Mammoth reacquired their all-time leading scorer in Gavin Prout from Edmonton at the trade deadline to correspond with their winning as stated
above. When Prout came back, the Mammoth's losing streak at home ended a thirteen game losing streak there that started after Prout was
first traded prior to the 2010 season.
- John Grant is the Mammoth's leading scorer with 35 goals and 43 assists.
- Dan Carey of the Mammoth turns 29 on game day. After struggling with concussions that forced him to miss all of last season and large
parts of the 2008 & 2009 seasons, Carey has returned full time to the Mammoth this year with 12 goals and 19 assists
Prediction: Minnesota Swarm 12 Colorado Mammoth 10
