The Swarm won two of three last year against the Roughnecks last season.  The Swarm's first two games last season were against the Roughnecks losing in Calgary and winning at The Hive.  The Swarm clinched the season series on March 26, 2010 with a 17-13 win where NIck Patterson saved a Swarm single game record 59 of 72 shots and Ryan Benesch set single game records with nine assists and eleven points.
