Heartbreak at The Hive

The Minnesota Swarm finally returned to the Hive after a long absence in the midst of battling for playoff positioning. They welcomed back former Swarm Ryan Ward to the Hive for the first time in enemy apparel. The night was set up for some great moments; however, in the end the Edmonton Rush broke the Swarm's heart with a come from hehind 13-12 overtime win.

  • Callum Crawford tied a Swarm single game record with five goals
  • The Swarm wore black jerseys with pink lettering in support of fighting cancer
  • The Swarm had a five goal lead at 11-6 entering the fourth quarter
  • The Swarm lose both games to Edmonton, the first time in team history they got swept in a season series by the Rush
