Dean Hill Makes A Memorable Debut

Dean Hill made his NLL and Swarm debut today with four goals as the Minnesota (8-7) pick up a huge victory over the San Jose Stealth by a 9-8 in overtime. The game winner for the Swarm came courtesy of Jamie Taylor just 1:37 into the extra frame. The Swarm earned a weekend split but still have not clinch a playoff spot. Win against Portland at The Hive next weekend and they are in.
- Hill's NLL debut was the best in Swarm history
- Jamie Taylor scores the game winner 1:35 into overtime. Taylor has scored both game winning overtime goals in Swarm history, the first being last year on
April 9th in Anaheim against the Storm.
- The Swarm will have their first non-losing season in team history
- Nick Patterson turns in a spectacular game with 40 saves on 48 shots
- Ryan Ward's penalty shot at the end of the fourth quarter was saved by the Stealth's Anthony Cosmo
- The Swarm can clinch their first ever playoff spot with a win against Portland or at least one Philadelphia loss next weekend
- The Stealth were swept this weekend, also losing at home on Friday against Portland
