The Swarm took one on the chin tonight in Toronto losing 13-8. The
Swarm offense is still struggling. We move the ball well, but it is as
if no one wants to take the big shot. We can't finish. The Rock are
much more aggressive picking up loose balls and they did it with gusto
tonight. I would like to see the Swarm be a bit more aggressive picking
them up. Also, I think the Swarm were hesitant on a few breakaways
tonight that cost us.
Kelly Hall should be playing in every game
the rest of the year. No excuses for him not playing. He is the Swarm
power play. Nick Patterson did pretty well tonight against the potent
Rock offense but he was caught off guard late in the 4th after coming
off the floor for the extra attacker. The defense played much better
than in Buffalo on February 18th and will have to continue with it in
Buffalo on Saturday night. Riley Kemp was the most impressive of the
Swarm on defense. It will be interesting to see who will play tomorrow
night. I would imagine Tony Henderson will be in for Spencer Martin
even though I think Martin is doing okay. Hopefully, the defense comes
through for Matt Disher tomorrow night. If possible, I would keep the
same defensive line up as they had tonight.
Kelly Hall was the Swarm MVP tonight with four goals, three of which were on the power play. Ryan Ward scored a goal and assisted on four more.

Taylor can't be shut out tomorrow night on the score sheet like he was
tonight. I think he should have been given an assist Sean Pollock's
goal in the 3rd which tied it at six.
Nick Patterson had two deflected Josh Sanderson goals get by him but he did well still as he saved 35 of 47.
Let's go to Buffalo, forget Toronto and beat the Bandits tomorrow night.
