Even after the tough loss, the Swarm are still looking strong. The defense is playing much better than last year thanks to a big boost by Darryl Gibson. Heck we won the face offs and loose balls for the first time this year so that is definitely a good sign. Mark Miyashita looks to be the guy for face offs in order to let D'arcy Berthiaume work more offensively. That is a win/win in my mind. Winning the loose ball count equals hustle and agressiveness from what I hear. Also those getting those loose balls can lead to more goals on breakaways and such.

Our offense will come back with a better performance. Six goals is an anomaly not the rule, so I am not too worried. Well, I am always worried but most of those worries are fading away.

In addition our strongest asset is in goal with Matt Disher and Nick Patterson or Nick Patterson and Matt Disher. You all can decide who gets top billing. They are both deserving.

Remember, this team has an average age of 25 years, 2 months, 17 days, 10 hours and 48 minutes. The future is bright, don't reduce the season to just Saturday night's game. There will be nights like this but heck we are 2 games ahead ot the Rock.
