  • The Swarm have won two straight games after sweeping Edmonton and Rochester last weekend at The Hive.
  • The Swarm have won all three home games this weekend.
  • The Swarm have won two straight at home against Colorado after losing their first four in team history against the Mammoth at home.
  • Ryan Benesch is tied for third in goals in the NLL with 15.
  • Callum Crawford is third with 25 assists and tied for third with 33 points in the NLL.
  • Both rookie goaltenders, Tyler Carlson and Evan Kirk, won games for the Swarm last weekend. It maybe a first in league history.
  • Look for Carlson to start against the Mammoth.
  • Nick Patterson, who had been the last player remaining from the original 2005 team was released this weekend. This is in part due to the emergenece of Carlson and Kirk, a possible fallout from last year's playoff game, the Swarm wanting to cut costs and the Swarm using Patterson as leaverage to consumate the Anthony Cosmo deal this past Friday with Buffalo in which the Swarm received a first round pick in the 2013 & 2014 NLL Entry Drafts.
  • The Swarm signed rookie David Earl to replace Patterson on the roster. Earl was drafted by the Swarm in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft but did not report to camp. Uncertain, if Earl will play this weekend. The Swarm have nine rookies on the active roster now.
  • Sean Pollock and Jon Sullivan return to The Hive for the first time in their careers in enemey colors. Both were traded to Mammoth in offseason after being with the Swarm since year one of Swarm lacrosse in 2005.
  • The Mammoth had the week off last week. Their last game was a 11-7 victory over Edmonton on February 4th.
  • The Mammoth are the only undefeated team in the NLL.
  • John Grant leads the NLL in goals (19) and points (45). He is second in the NLL in assists (26).
  • Adam Jones is tied for third in goals in the NLL with 15.

Prediction: Minnesota Swarm 17 Colorado Mammoth 15
