Series History:The two teams have split the first two of three games this season with both winning at home. On February 6th at
The Hive, the Swarm turned in a stellar defensive stand as Zach Higgins saved 34 of 40 shots and Callum
Crawford scored the game winner in overtime for a Swarm 7-6 win. The Knighthawks won the only game in Rochester
this season on April 4th with a 10-2 humiliating throttling of the Swarm as they were held to a NLL all-time regular season low two goals in the game.
Last Weekend:The Swarm had their losing streak extended to four games as the Edmonton Rush left the Hive with a 16-12 victory fueled by 6-0
third quarter. Jordan MacIntosh returned to the line up after missing his first ever NLL and Swarm game the previous weekend and had a
three goals and three assists to lead the Swarm. Miles Thompson also had three goals and Joe Maracle scored his first NLL and Swarm goal.
The Knighthawks ended the New England Black Wolves hopes of the playoffs with a commanding 14-6 win and they have won five of their last six
entering the season finale. Cody Jamieson had three goals and seven assists and Joe Resetarits had three goals and three assists as he continues
to star since being acquired from Buffalo at the trade deadline.
 Notes:
Fan Appreciation Night
The Swarm have lost their last two home regular season final games and are 4-6 in home regular season final games in their history.
Former Knighthawks with the Swarm: Johnny Powless and Joel White
Former Swarm with the Knighthawks: Craig Point, Jon Sullivan, Scott Self, Scott Campell and Angus Goodleaf.
A Rochester win and Edmonton loss will give the Knighthawks the second overall seed in the 2015 NLL playoffs
With New England losing on Friday night, the Black Wolves clinch the worst record in the NLL and the first overall pick in the 2015 NLL Entry Draft. That pick is owned by the Swarm due to the Kevin Ross trade which means the Swarm have the first overall pick. The Swarm can then draft Miles Thompson's brother Lyle or any of the other top players like Jesse King or Wesley Berg.
Minnesota's own pick will be second or third overall - they lose the tiebreaker to both Vancouver and Calgary who play each other Saturday night for the last playoff spot in the West Division:
Minnesota wins, Vancouver loses - Rochester (owns Vancouver pick) 2nd overall - Minnesota 3rd Overall
Minnesota wins, Vancouver wins - Minnesota 2nd Overall - Calgary 3rd Overall - Best scenario
Minnesota loses, Vancouver wins - Minnesota 2nd Overall - Calgary 3rd Overall
Minnesota loses, Vancouver loses - Minnesota 2nd Overall - Rochester (owns Vancouver pick) 3rd overall
The Swarm also own Colorado and Buffalo's first rounders and those spots will be determined by the playoff performance by those two teams.
Prediction: Minnesota Swarm 10 Rochester Knighthawks 8
