Game Notes

  • The four Swarm goals were the least scored in a regular season game by the team in their history. Only the 2012 West Finals saw the Swarm score even less and that was three against Edmonton
  • The Swarm gave up thirteen straight goals to the Rock going from up 3-2 early in the second quarter to down 15-3 by the start of the fourth quarter
  • The Swarm have lost four straight to the Rock. They can split the season series with a win Saturday night in Toronto and get back with a game of first place
  • Brodie MacDonald came into the game in the second quarter with the Swarm down 7-3. Zach Higgins came back before the end of the second quarter and started the second half but after the Rock extended the lead to 15-3, MacDonald came back in and finished the game. With 17 saves on 22 shots on goal, MacDonald had his best performance of the season.
  • The Swarm have increased the home attendance by 1,229 per game from the first three games of last year (7,959) to the first three games of this year (9,188)
